Terrafore, Inc., was incorporated in late 2007 as a consulting and technology development company in renewable energy and sustainable technologies to address these opportunities and offer world class consulting services.
We have assembled a team of consultants and advisors consisting of technology veterans with decades of experience to provide consulting services for large scale solar power generation systems.
We are also developing innovative technologies for high temperature thermal energy storage and distributed solar thermal systems.
The principals at Terrafore each have more than three decades of experience in entrepreneurship and developing technologies in the fields of solar energy - CSP, PV and CPV, automation and controls, wireless sensor networks, engineering and design, information technology, CAD/CAM/CAE applications, manufacturing and contracting.
Management Team
Anoop Mathur, is the CTO and co-founder of Terrafore with expertise in concentrating solar power, thermal energy storage, heat transfer fluids and renewable energy technologies including biofuels, photovoltaics and fuel cells. He has over 35 years of experience developing and managing diverse advanced technologies including predictive controls, advanced materials, sensors, neural networks, and nanotechnology. Most recently, he was the Director of Honeywell Automation and Control Systems global advanced technology laboratories in USA, China, India and Romania. He led the development of secure reliable wireless mesh sensor network technology that can be adapted for CSP systems. He was part of the design team that developed the first 10MWe solar power tower pilot project in the late 70’s. He designed flat plate and parabolic trough collectors, and concentrating photovoltaic systems. He holds fourteen patents and has received several technical achievement awards including a lifetime community service award.
Rajan Kasetty, CEO and co-founder of Terrafore has Over 35 years of experience as an engineer, entrepreneur and senior executive, in R&D, Project Contracting, Large Power Systems, Irrigation Pumping Systems, Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment, Controls and Automation, Alternative Energy, Engineering Design, IT , GIS and related services. Prior to starting Terrafore, Rajan was the CEO of Infotech Enterprises America, Inc., part of a global group, offering Engineering Design and IT services for aerospace, automotive and industrial customers and Geographical Information Systems for utilities, transportation and government customers. Rajan was also a founding Director on the Board of Infotech Enterprises Ltd., the parent company in India. After graduating in Electrical Engineering in 1974, Rajan began his career as a Management Trainee with the DCM group in Hyderabad, India. He has been an entrepreneur since 1976 and set up and ran businesses and manufacturing facilities in India, USA and Puerto Rico.He moved to USA in 1999 to set up and run Infotech’s North America subsidiaries.
